I recall in Legacy Haven that having several beehives in too close proximity caused only one of them to gather honey while the rest sat idly by because only one was picking up on the crops, probably the other hives weren't affecting crops either. This could be the same thing or similar code causing the issue?

As a temp fix, is cutting the radius on the beehive by about halfish easy? Probably not. (I see there was no comment on my theoretical analysis above which orcling's post only reinforces.)
