My guess is you reinstalled windows after formatting the computer - did you install the graphics driver from the intel page?
If not: drop the microsoft supplied driver and get one (matching your GPU) directly from intel.

no, the problem now and the other. Already with intel driver.
Now I open the game and after loading everything when it goes the scenario appears the game close! I tried the above tips but it did not work.

I hope you are installing the correct version of Java ... just to be sure, it's called Windows Offline (64-bit): https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
If this doesn't work too, I'd personally try out some other drivers, and looking on the web for your GPU model VS openGL discussions.

Btw I haven't understood yet exactly what's the model of your gpu, please do this for me (and i'll look what people say on the web for your card):

-Press win + R
-Type: devmgmt.msc
-Go on Video cards and tell me what it say there

The driver I downloaded manually and installed and is with the driver. the game already open, only when it is loading things, after loading everything will appear the scenario, simply the game closes!

The driver that worked here was this: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downlo ... duct=81507

I am so lost, I am only just now starting to get into computers and I have barely dipped my toes in the water.

I have been going at this for several hours now and have finally gotten the game to seemingly install. However I get the OpenGL drivers error, I have had it up to my neck in frustration.

I dont seem to have a video card option but I do have display adapters?

Intel (R) Q45/Q43 Express Chipset

You should post the log that pops up on your screen so that we can see what the specific issue is.

Odds are, given the age of the system (from around 2008?), you don't have a graphics processor that supports the required OpenGL version, either due to design flaws or bugs in the driver. Going from specs online, this is one of the Intel chips that has issues with running any OpenGL based software. The best suggestion without knowing more is to verify you're running a 64-bit version of Windows and have the 64-bit version of Java installed. You may need to manually download it from https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp.

That is only a "best guess," though. For specific information and troubleshooting, we need to know any crash reports, what operating system is being used, drivers, version of Java, and potentially specific releases.

Indeed this is likely to be true, unfortunately. I haven't tried that particular model myself, but I've tried a very similar one and the its drivers are not even capable of programmable shading. However, it should be said that even if it weren't so and there are drivers that could make it, strictly speaking, work, you probably wouldn't have a very pleasant experience either way, given the performance of those graphics processors.

It's a DirectX 10 compatible GPU, so it should have (programmable shaders were part of the DX9.0 spec IIRC). Performance on these were mostly for running standard desktop apps and Windows features, not gaming, though gaming is possible at minimal settings.
