I will retaliate any aggression I received first.
And please, don't miscarriage the topic
If your retaliation involved Criminal Acts (ie leaving scents) you should consider the possibility of nidbanes and, more critically, you should consider sending nidbanes of your own instead of “retaliating” by dropping scents without apparently harming your adversary/victim.

1. Player clicks an inconspicuous cave entrance.
2. Player pops within a visitor gate and gains Visitor status.
3. Ragebot immediately aggro's player.
4. Player can't move at all or Hearth due to combat status.
I was under impression that natural cave entrances are always (no matter how they're claimed) considered a public entity that can always be used to enter/exit. Was this stealth changed in an attempt to fix a different set of newb traps?
The issue is it puts you on the other side of the gate. You can't move through visitor gates while in combat, this means going back the way u came is not possible, since the visitor gate blocks you.
Basically once you enter the cave theres nothing more you can do except to wait until the gankers feel like taking u out.

This is wrong. They could have exited if they didn't run off the location they were placed when entering the cave like idiots. Go back to the trap and on alt and try it or build one of your own. You can always exit caves from the location it puts you when you enter, doesn't matter if there is a gate in the way.
