Bugged animals can't be butchered

Have a veritable graveyard of unbutcherable animals, annoyingly they don't decay.

Skinned and starting butchering a badger. It butchered for a while, got the scent gland, but then walked away in the middle of butchering to put stuff in a cupboard. When I came back, I couldn't keep butchering the badger.

It will not repair. It will not decay.
Use boat. Lift cow corpse, get to deep water and log out. Cow will be gone.

Standing in shallow water and relog should do the trick too.

yeah, have the same thing with a calf i found outside a large village. they probably threw it out because it was bugged

I've been finding random cows in the woods that are bugged as well.

They are everywhere, idk why anyone is surprised ... no-one wants them in their villages so you just take them out and dump them, lol, carcass fly tipping. I do the same but I take mine to a cave and dump them.
