theres 8 options on average for each crop. -5 to +2
if you have maxxed out skills you get 15 seeds per (for instance) carrot.
you plant 8 carrots of q10.
you wil get:
15 seeds of 5
15 seeds of 6
15 seeds of 7
15 seeds of 8
15 seeds of 9
15 seeds of 10
15 seeds of 11
15 seeds of 12

As I wrote on the previous page - "if my math is correct". I assumed that you get 10 to 15 seeds back, not always 15. Is it really the case with all the skills maxed? If so - the system might be fine in that regard. But it's still utterly disturbing to start the farm now.

i think you get 15 with all skills by default. used to be last 2 worlds...

OK, my bad. I did not count Druidic Rite (just becasue still have not got it). Disregard my local q field cap comments then.

The problem then is just the frustration of non-druids who try to start a farm and end up with q1 harvest. Might be even a feature. :)

I don't remember the exactly number of seeds for every crops....maybe can be done only for certain crops, or maybe for all of them, idk yet.
Btw the fact is that people growing crops on their quality areas will have better crops than you growing over not quality area...and this is good for trade.

Could be good, but something tells me people will start making multiple farms for their own. Might end up being good for piracy instead. :)

Still would be nice to be able (even at a serious expense) to know the q field before planting anything.

So everyone has to play every role or what? I know people who play this game mostly for farming and they were fine for a looong time in previous worlds. And now I see the same people quite frustrated. Not at the point of quitting (yet) and hopefully it will get better after they get druidic rite. But still...

I myself am quite happy underground. Doesn't mean I don't care about the rest of the game.

If it's related to WWW, we already know that....i guess will figure that out very soon.....btw probably J&L made this thing random, so you cannot build 1000 farm around the world at your will....untill someone discover the quality area, and this is why I don't think the would add a way to know the quality area.

Not until we hit the local q field. Which is 50+. Which is not soon (your words!). :)
