Inheritance not working?

I just got ganked by a Boar and thus had to restart, with the new spawn area I thought I did everything right but other then the ability to spawn at the same fire, what else was I spos to get? I can craft everything I was able to before but thats it, I don't have the skills or any LP regain (mind wasn't expecting all) from inheritance...

T hey changed it so you on ly inherit location of your previous char.

Not a bug. It is actually a bug that your craft list isn't recalculated to remove everything, as you don't actually know it anymore.
