Corpse ticks damage long after death

I found this guy probably 15 minutes ago, and he's just been lying on the ground taking constant damage. As far as I've read, leeches aren't in the game yet and I'm unsure what else would be tagging him for 20 SHP damage every ~6 seconds. If this is a bug, it'd be extremely frustrating to run into. If either of the devs are around you might want to take a look at this guy, I'll be in the area if you need someone to teleport to.

This guy's still here after the server crashing and coming back up. Strange. Maybe that means he's already dead?

Hes already dead. I *think* it has something to do with his body decaying, because when my first character died and I saw the body, the same thing was happening to it. Not saying I know for 100% sure, but that is my guess.

Ah, I hadn't come across any corpses yet, you may be correct. I'll keep an eye on him and see if he pops.

I don't know if this is a bug so I'm posting it here for you devs to decide.
I found this corpse by a lake. It seems dead, but it's still taking damage every 8 seconds and I don't know what's going on. There's no way this char had 800+ hpp.

I keep finding corpses like this.
They seem to be in a constant unconscious state.

corpse is not dead. its old slavic tradition, devs said game theme is based on germanic and slavic tales. whats wrong?
btw that did happened to my char. ive lost energy bar and starved to death very quick. this is a result.
btw starving is more dangerous now. it takes 20 by 20 dmg very quick if energy drops

Hmm. I've seen other reports like this. If anyone knows how to reproduce I would love that.

Have a character die from no energy and it will keep ticking, eventually his corpse disappeared but it was taking damage until it did.
