[no bug] spit roasting slow when fire is cold

Fire burning

Place a spit over fire and load meat... timer never goes down

Fire Unlit

Place spit over fire, light fire, load meat ... timer goes down

Intentional?

I'm not sure but the red bar that indicates fireplace temperature has to go up before spitroast timer will advance. haven't tried it though.

At least in Salem, fireplaces need some red bar before things you place in them start cooking.

It's not a timer, but a heat meter. Yes, it doesn't go down when the fire is lit, and, yes, it does go down when the fire is unlit. Intended.
