Fishing broken?

Anyone else not catching any fish at all?

Or do they just bite randomly. Been fishing for like 15 minutes now not a single fish

Fish in a spot where they jump.
If they don't bite: fish somewhere else.

System messages contains hints what has happened when the timer ran out.

Ya i've been fishing where they jump I've tried over 10 spots now still trying nothing tho. Using entrails. Timer just repeats and I get no system messages.

*Edit scratch that finally got one.

Was only wondering because any other time I fished I was getting them pretty often.

Different fish have different difficulties and catching times. When time of day shifted last night I went from catches every 30-60 seconds to like 5 minutes between catches. Some people are saying some fish take like 30+ minutes with pole fishing. If you find a particular spot to be taking too long under certain conditions just wait awhile before fishing or fish elsewhere. Deep water always seems to be good.
