Menu bug just drowned me

I've spend the past 12 hours travelling across map trying to find a friend getting increasingly more frustrated with game and now, after all that, I got that bug where the interface becomes unclickable and every time I click on inventory or character screen, it makes you walk to the ground behind the menu. This was while I was on 6% stamina near the edge of the water. I died almost instantly, and the most stupid thing is I was basically still on land, the sand tile I was on was somehow considered as a water tile even though it was 100% sand.

I had 25 int, 27 dex, 10 expl, 10 surv and other stats + pclaim in village so its pretty annoying

Yeah I've had this bug. Basically you go to click on something on you're menu bar like inventory or whatever and it ignores the menu and tries to walk to that location. Its nearly made me walk into bears and all kinds.

I mean, it definitely sucks to die because of an interface but, but this is true.

I've had this happen to me a few times, as well. Each time it seemed to happen when I'd opened several crafting windows in quick succession.

Jorb, maybe good idea to bring back the buff list (criminal acts, swimming, ...) so we see the active things ?
Could make sense to make them clickable to deactivate the corresponding toggle...

I think that was a feature of Ender's client, Granger.
