i had a similar problem. if you have not made a java exception you should do that by going to control panel -> java -> security -> edit site list and then paste the haven and hearth website url.

if that does not work go to control panel -> java -> General -> temporary internet files -> settings, and check the box that says "keep temporary internet files and turn the slider so you have at 6,384 megabytes of storage space for them
