Wtf happened to my house

I'm pretty sure that someone destroyed my house as the entire house wasn't in my claim. (Mainly due to the fact that my cupboards have been raided)

But this is definitely a bug then right? As you cant build cupboards outside. And now the contents of my house has just been dumped.

Now I'm not sure if the house was destroyed, it may have just disappeared for all I know. And then someone raided the outside cupboards.

How much of a house should be on a claim? I mean you wouldn't be able to get in through the door, so why allow being able to destroy it from one side?

Someone destroyed your house. When houses are destroyed all of the objects inside of them now get placed on the overworld

Claiming the door makes all of the objects inside of the house claimed but I'm not sure about the sides outside of the claim. They may be able to destroy those without vandalism still.

You can definitely still destroy the house as long as any part of it is unclaimed.
