Wall of House Signs

My buddy and I were about to build a house, then I was like "dude, take the block out and change its position so the door faces x way" and so he tried to take the item out. He said he couldn't. I said I'd show him how and realized I couldn't. Then we discovered you could build a wall of these things and no one can pass through because you can't remove the block of wood. I think. I could be wrong, but I've tried left clicking, right clicking, shit and control left and right clicking, so... not sure!

You know that construction signs no longer hold materials at all, right, but that rather materials are built directly into the projects?

... and that those projects can be easily destroyed?

Pretty intentional. Its less useful than a stick fence though as anyone with vandalism can break a construction sign on a claim, and anyone can break it off claim.
