Problem "clicking"

Might it be a resolution problem?

Lets start:

When i first started to play the game when it was released I noticed it was difficult to light a fire. The problem was that i couldnt point at the fireplace and i couldnt light it. I could try it 5 ot 6 times and the fire wouldnt light. Soon i realized that i could light it allways if i zoomed in. Like damn close. Now the same happens to me with kilns. I need to zoom to be able to light them or to fill it with branches. I use a 48'' tv to play.

Yeah, there is some shit going on with that. We know, but haven't been able to figure out what is causing it.
