Bug with characters

Well my friend is logged off and i can still see his character standing on hearthfire, its because he is not added to claim?

He may have criminal scents out. Thus preventing his character from logging out.

just bring a badger, boar, bear or some bats in the area and you most likely won't see his character any longer, soon.

One reason could be that he has committed a crime of some sort.
