New disturbing village mechanic/bug?

Postby lol123456 » Sat Sep 05, 2015 12:32 pm

Hello, today i cheсked out some of the village mechanics and find out a disturbing element.

Was that actually your intention for residents to have the right to attack anyone, including LS, without having appropriate skills?

Cause if it is, in one hand, yeah, you could probably use this factor to defend your territory in the early game, but on the other hand, it could backfire pretty bad, if for example, new recruits having some bad blood with LS or some member - they could easily dispatch them. Or start the full fledged civil war.

In a conclusion, what I'm thinking - if you wanted to implement some element of treachery into the game - this could have been done more elegantly than just brute forcing it. More criminal acts skills perhaps? I'm just suggesting. Anyway, thanks for listening.

It is intended that you should be able to defend your claim without skills, yes.

Why? Shouldn't you trust your village members?

Not being obstinate. Actually curious as to how this can be a problem for you.

Changes nothing if they get the skills to commit crimes, though. I kind of feel that the village should be neutral in all of that.

I think what he means is if a villager attacks you they don't leave scents now.

I can see it being a bit of an issue if someone goes rogue, murders a scented fighter without leaving any form of scent, and then whisks away from the village.

They should definitely leave scents under those circumstances. Do they not?
