Server cannot be located.

I've had this happen to me twice in the last two days. I won't be able to connect to either the website or the game. When I try to log into either the connection will either time out or it will say "server cannot be located" or something to that effect. It will go on for some time and then suddenly it will resolve itself.

I mean, it's only happened these two times so I can't say it's frequent but it is a mystery to me. Anyone know what could cause this?

when you have this issue, see if you can do a tracert or ping the server. It could be an issue on the Internet in general causing connection problems or a problem locally with your network or service provider. Let me find that IP address for you.... or maybe someone else will have it. I'll keep this post handy if I do find it and make sure it gets posted.

Incidentally enough, I had this issue yesterday and it turned out to be a firmware corruption on my rather ancient router. Pretty hard to trace down that type of issue for sure, best of luck to em.

Connectivity issue somewhere between you and us. Hard to resolve, but feel free to try tracing, checking your own router/network, and such.
