User Interface Lockup

Problem is what it says on the tin. Sometimes I'll have my UI completely freeze even though the game continues to run fine without any sort of crash - although I can still sift through menus and whatnot with my mouse cursor there's no way to utilize hotkeys, move my character via mouse pointer or even log out. Clicking logout will simply resort in a response by the GUI with no actual effect. After this happening several times I've realized it has something to do with the player character colliding with objects whilst moving. Not entirely sure what's responsible ultimately as it seemingly comes at random when contact is made with any stationary object. Had another friend suffer from this as well and the only method of fixing it is to close the game and restart which can be less than ideal if you happen to collide with something during combat (which has happened once to me, prompting to write up this post).

Seems the effect is the same, however in my instance it's merely colliding with objects which causes the UI to lock up like that. Far less predictable and more damaging since navigating through a forest tends to have plenty of obstacles to dodge.

edit: Haven't done any paving either.
