Leveling land with a survey destroys dirt

Instead of it going into your inventory, the dirt just ceases to exist!

what are you crazy, it auto places dirt from higher up to lower down. when it cant move the dirt anymore, then it'll stack in your inventory

Not a bug. (See post above). First, it fills in low areas in the survey. Next, it'll toss it outside the survey area until it starts getting too high to fill in anymore. Third, it goes to inventory. Last, it just gets dropped back down to the ground.
