Confirmation Mail isn't coming?

Yesterday a friend of mine tried to create a new HnH account to try out the new game (he cant remember his old account data).
He was told that he would recieve a confirmation mail ,but he still did not get it. Is that normal and if yes how long would he have to wait for it to arrive?
If that is not normal i would be thankful for any tips on how to fix that problem.

He actualy did that before asking me to create the post,but he did not find the mail in the spam filter aswell.

In that case I do not know what went wrong. What e-mail provider is he using?

He said it was Hotmail (@hotmail.de)

Perhaps try creating a new hotmail.de adress and test if that works. Perhaps try some other e-mail provider.

I strongly doubt that the problem lies on our end.

Allright, problem solved. Tried different e-mail providers, but that was not the issue. I first tried to register using the brower chrome (5 times), not working at all, switched to interent explorer and that did the trick. yay
