Leeches can cause knicks & knacks without converting wounds?

Not sure if intended or not. Put on leeches, got a knicks & knacks stack from them but none of my unhealable HHP stacks were converted or leech burns produced.

Been using leeches, its apparently random chance to heal bruises, if healed itll cause Leech Burn which will heal within 30ish minutes.
