Dropping Items onto Basement Hatch = Lost Item

The Basement Hatch shows as a higher image layer so dropped items are lost under it. They can not be seen or picked up again.

Sucks. Don't.

Not a priority in any way shape or form. Most items should be possible to grab due to being taller than the hatch, and the ones that aren't, well, don't drop them there. I'm not even sure how to fix it save making sure that every item is, indeed, taller than the hatch, and, well, ain't nobody got time for that.

What items was it you dropped, OP?

Hopefully one of the lovely custom client makers will add in Ender's radar stuff, so you can just add your fallen item to radar and pick it up via minimap.

It wasn't anything important, just a Nettle Pants...
It was procing over the next point mark for increased survival and we dropped it by accident while trying to swap it over with current pair.

EDIT:
Just actually tried it with other things and yeah its not all that important, just Vacuum pickup retrieves anything that has a low image profile as the item is still there just hidden...

Doing the opposite and make sure the hatch sits lower sounds much easier to me. :geek:
