Fighting animals while riding horse

Hey Jorftar, I dunno if this is bug or intended.
One time, my char was riding a horse and fighting a fox, my char had 70~hhp, and the fox knocked me out, I think aniamls these days don't have murder so supposingly, my char should not die, but suddenly I lost 50 hhp and my char died. So, it is "as if" when my char got knocked out, he also fell from horse and lost shp, but he has no shp, so he lost his hhp. However, the truth is the char did not fall from the horse, after death, my char is stilling sitting on the horse.

I dunno why this is so, because before when my char was riding horse, a badger atked my char and knocked me out, that time my char just remained knocked out ON the horse. This is actually why I thought he could fight fox on the horse, because I thought even if my char got knocked out I'd stay on horse.

Or maybe the fox had a atk on quene and used it automatically after knocking my char out?

Could be that last thing. Hard to determine post fact. We will expand the tracking of death, as we presently have none, and perhaps that is indeed the first bug that needs fixing here. Will look at that, thanks.

On the other hand, animal ai is so bugged when you're on a horse that its quite a bit safer in fact. Some larger animals cant even hit you... you can hit them if you manouevre to their flank.
