Probably a holdover from buckets holding liquids? Feels like seeds emptied out of a bucket should be dropped to the ground instead.

Calling it a bug is a bit much, but I'll consider the idea.

I was really torn between that and suggestions. I decided on bug because dropping seeds doesn't destroy them immediately, like dreams say.
