Random horse damage

I tried to ride a horse, but 1 seconds after I got on it, I took 60 soft damage, and got knocked unconscious. So whats up with this?

I do not know. Were you in combat?

Someone may have been just riding the exact same horse and its scale thingy was alrdy ran down. so you jumped on and it knocked u off...

And it does damage when it runs out of stamina?

Either that or maybe leeches somehow. Other than that I can't think of anything. Horse being out of stamina sounds most likely. Were you thrown off?
