Relogging in combat after crash

If you disconnect while in combat, your character remains in the world due to combat but you cannot login to your character because it's already connected.
I crashed after using a new move in combat with a bat, was unable to login while my armor and then character was slowly taken down, when I finally got back in I had lost most of my HHP and all my armor.

Basically allow players to retake control of "connected" characters if the connection to that character drops.

Why did you crash, though?

Can't you change it to that new logins always "destroy" old connections?

What's the advantage of allowing "you are already logged in" status when you instead could destroy previous connection and let the new one be the one that matters?


The advantage of always overriding is that less people will die or get hurt by random disconnects/crashes since the moment they try to log back in the game will allow them.

Not sure, was using a new move in combat with a bat but this was on a custom client so might not be a default issue.
