some Barley seeds unplantable

Picked 4 barley plants. received 30 seeds with same ratings, 10 slightly different.
The 30 seeds planted fine
the 10 cant not be planted anywhere.
- I tried square that was plowed, was able to plant different barley seed in it after failure
- tried to replow
- tried splitting seeds
- tried stashing in barrel and bucket then planting
- Logged off and back on
- Has another account try to plant

Only thing I didn't try is to mix them in a barrel with other Q barley

Have not seen this specifically but 1 by 1 planting seems to sometimes go horribly difficult. Perhaps you could try area planting, it'll find a suitable spot automatically, and if it doesn't then it's likely broken indeed.

Ok figured out why it wont plant. Only have 2 seeds not 10

Now why did I only receive 2 seeds and not 10 when I grabbed it. Does the Gardening perk grant extra seeds x5 as a bonus or does the number vary
