Judging by ingame piano keyboard pressing Z key should play C note, but the C note sound like D#, D like F etc. Is it transposed intentionally?

No, well, I'll admit I'm actually aware that the instruments aren't properly tuned. It has just been quite hard to find good sound samples (I'd also quite much like to have several samples for different parts of the scale rather than just one single one being resampled for the entire scale), and I don't have absolute pitch myself, so I didn't know how to retune them. If you're fairly sure that what the alleged C note is in fact D#, I can easily return the instrument, though. What instrument is it that are you talking about, in fact?
