What just happened? Missing armor

I am a little confused. The server reset to fix beet roots and when I logged back in my leather armor was gone. I just made it last night and was on just before the restart. Is this a bug or am I not fully understanding something here.

It wasn't amazing leather armor, but it was q14 I think. It was above 10.

Have you fought anything lately? It could have been taking damage in combat and broken from reaching its max wear.

No explanation for that, other than unnoticed normal behaviors like decay in combat.

Nothing to go on for further testing. Would need confirmations or something.

Okay thank you for the replies.

I did fight a single ant to test my knowledge in combat but that was it. Can one fight with an ant really destroy a leather armor chestpiece q12-14?

Yes if you were taking hits and the armor was soaking damage.

I also had my leather pants destroyed after I logged off one night, without any battles (to the best of my knowledge).
