Self Plowing Fields

I plowed a rectangular field into the ground. Later, I returned to the field and saw several tiles around it had been plowed in my absence, yet there were no scents.
I began stomping it back into shape and then it began "growing" before my eyes, auto-plowing tiles around itself. The tiles that fell victim to assimilation were stomped dirt
