Lay stone & Survey land bug?

Postby blazsword » Sun Sep 27, 2015 7:33 pm

Hi, i've been having some problems with survery land and lay stone.

Now i am trying to do this in a straight line in a different direction but for some reason it only goes this way as you can see on the picture.

Image

Now i don't want to go a straight line that way but when i try to make a straight line a different direction then it goes like this. Image

Not sure if this is actually a bug but i assumed it might be. Also im on the Amber client. Either way is it a fix for this or im just being dumb and accidentally hot keyed something that made it like that?

I don't understand what the problem is? You can make a straight line in any direction without problem. When you drag an area it creates a square.

What i mean is that i want to make a straight line up from the north not to the right as you can see on the gif but it wont let me. Also that's the only direction the line goes as shown on the gif because i cant go anywhere with making a straight line some where else like north - west - south but it wont let me.

Not a bug. Diagonal lines are not supported.

Why not? It worked before so why doesn't it work now?

There has never been diagonal lines.
