Nice screenshot, can't tell if you're drinking or something and your hat is clipping through the wall or you've placed it on the wall and it's facing out. Since it's you, I'm sure it's intentional.

So you're saying this happens to the hat on your head when you're stirring a cauldron? Sounds like everything is normal to me, and the animations could be tweaked so the quirks do not happen. I'd say that's some low priority stuff if it doesn't negatively impact game play.
