FPS Lag from animations

As the topic states when you have a lot of animations on screen specifically beehives it lags the client like crazy, bee hives might be the culprit as I recently built a lot then noticed the lag, but im sure the other animations probably add to this fps lag also

Hard to meaningfully investigate. Feel free to post system specs or the like.

What client you are using?
I have 12 beehives. FRAPS show the same FPS all the time.

Yeah I get this too to some extent but not as bad as having a load of beehives on screen/ other animations, maybe its a mix of both problems, maybe I just need to spent $1000 on a graphics card, from my uneducated perspective id presume it has something to do with the 3d rendering

With flavor objects disabled and simple crops selected most of the fps lag is gone, that's even with advanced graphics settings turned on
