B12 axe chops trees on par with stone axes.

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

B12 axe chops trees on par with stone axes.

I had two idiots chopping trees with me, both using stone axes, and we were chopping consistently with eachother, the difference being I was using a giant steel axe and they were using a rock tied to a stick. I was just wondering if this was "intended" or not.

A b12 axe is a battle axe. I don't find it too odd that it isn't intended for tree felling.

Semi-related, I'm pretty sure metal axe is still the same as stone axe too. I used roughly 2.5 stamina bars to chop down a tree with the metal axe which feels the same as a stone axe.

That is the same.

Battle axes are made for war not chopping trees. The axe heads are thinner metal and more likely of breaking on such use. But if you really want to break your B12 sure.

That is the same.

I posted this information on the announcement thread for where the metal axe was listed in the changelog as supposedly now being more stam efficient than the stone axe, but don't think Jorbtar saw it. IRL a metal axe would be faster, thus less stamina used.

Metal axe is now more stamina efficient than the stone axe when chopping down trees.
