Riding a horse ignores common trespassing mechanics

Came across this one while "exploring" nearby villages. While I was on my trusted steeds, I was able to run around on a claim freely and unpunished, with criminal acts happily turned off (wouldn't want to cause any accidental scents now would we?). After dismounting to further 'investigate' a cave within their claim, I lost my get out of scents free pass - my horse wanting nothing to do with me anymore and my feet refusing any commands - untill I did the evil evil trespassing toggle.
