Dead skinned animals vanishing on a cold night

Postby Jeff » Mon Oct 05, 2015 11:55 pm

Ok, i can't prove that it was cold. But let's talk about the rest.
The animals were in a personal claim that's also under a village claim. In the open, on a paved area (they weren't in a container like a cart or boat, i know there is already a bug about that).
This technically happened during the night of the last day, but i waited so that could ask everyone in the village.
Obviously the area is enclosed and i can't see any scent, even if we were talking about some rather elaborate troll.
We're also talking about an amount of around 10 various animals, ranging from foxes to bears, if it can help. We were waiting for our survivalist's account to recharge his hours, heh.

So, unless skinned animals are indeed supposed to disappear like that, here ends this bug report.

I've noticed the same thing, and I suspect it's the same as the leanto bug.

It appears that loftar has snuck animal decay into the game. My bad.

Perhaps it might be worth adding a patchnote on this? Or even just a retrospective "Ohai we added this little thing and forgot to mention it".

Most people are under the assumption that no decay still holds.

As I said, though, it was there already by release. And of course, it was always there in legacy.
