Shouldn't the combat moves specify what the distance is? Like for example for take aim, the first i used it, an Auroch totally messed me up because when it said "at a distance" i thought it meant something like thunder in legacy.

There's also the hitbox issue, what's up with this?
In the picture, the fox got blocked by a tree, and it just decided to stay there stuck, and didn't go around. Also happened with an auroch i was taming, but instead he got stuck on other stuff (1. metal stockpile 2. basalt boulder)

It made taming much easier, but I don't think it's an intended mechanic :P

Arguably they should present their range in the text, yes.

Combat AI is far from perfect at this point.
