Wreched Gores

It seems that the weakest animal in the game (BATS) are handing out Wreched Gores like Tic Tacs. 2 of them in one day. Taking most of my hit points. Is anyone else noticing you can fight bears, boars, cows, horses, foxes and badgers and only get fell slashes or deep cuts, but when bats attack you get knocked out and wreched gored to death?

That might be because wounds seems to stack into a bigger one when you get them rapidly, and in case a flock of bats attack you hits will rain down on you - compared with a single boar/bear that only hits from time to time.

I find the wounds to be very random I can get whooped by a bear and only receive a few deep cuts but then I can fight something stupid like a badger and get a wretched gore, my advice is don't fight without armour combats dumb
