Ever since the bones not being capped by cutting tool bugfix, I report everything suspicios, cause that one was just a shocker took a month and a half for someone to actually think it might be a bug :D

Anyways, the soil, leaves and maybe some other stockpiles have a bigger hitbox than their image would suggest when they're in their initial stages. I clip on a lot of empty space when walking next to near-empty soil stockpiles, for instance. I'd prefer different hitboxes for different stages of stockpiles or just a static image corresponding to it's hitbox for any amount of soil or w/e is stockpiled.

I agree that it can be confusing. Perhaps adopt the hitbox better for the smallest version.

Since soil stockpiles are now useless to fence in critters: One should be able to walk between two full ones with an empty tile between them (= when they're placed on the grid the closest possible, every two tiles).

Also: Metal stockpiles are aesthetically pleasing, but with 14 bars completely capacity completely worthless - a cupboard will hold 4 piles of bars on a smaller footprint and makes these 4 piles moveable. Please think about both aspects.

Would be nice to have bigger metal stockpiles, but I think they were created with the ease of smelter handling in mind, not permanent storage.
