The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

Graphics

Hi,

I have looked through a few pages and not seen anything about this but i apologise if it has been reported before. But i have a REALLY bad graphics bug and i have to relog my client every half an hour? it makes pvp a pain. Well just playing in general a pain. No-one else seems to get it.

I have moments where animals (Including bears) will be completely invisible Even if the rest of the graphics are fine and im not buggy, houses invisible or the graphics of the house goes all weird, never the same colour just must pick a random graphic colour from somewhere...

This also happens in houses on the cupboards, on the menu on my inventory. Everywhere basically.

Eventually the whole screen will go black and all vibrant colours of house roofs n stuff and a red version of my char will appear and thats when i have to relog...

I have tried various different clients and this even happens on the main client, I am playing on a laptop but its got 6gb ram etc pretty decent...

Anyone have any ideas of how i could sort this out? The only thing i can think off is im low on space in my C: drive, only have like 2 gb left in there but i have 200 gb spare in my D: drive.

All i have to do is restart the browser and the whole game is back to normal for 30mins - 1 hr ish

Thank you.

I have been getting this from the start of the world to be honest, i am having a feeling it may be my own issue rather than the game issue as i have not seen anyone else with this problem.

I have been looking through the 'Crazy Graphic Thread' and their Graphics bugs are completely different to mine.

I've just managed to play around it to be honest.

I will 100% take screenshots later when it happens again. I probably get it 5 times in a 3 - 4 hour play session. I always relog before i go into any pvp scenario or near a hostile village etc.

Here is what happens.

I am running a 32 bit java on a 64 bit operating system but that shouldnt be a problem...

Shouldn't be, but might. 32-bit Java calls 32 bit drivers, 64 bit calls 64 bit drivers. At least with some of the Intel GPUs it has made some difference.

Otherwise, that first screenshot looks similar to the other house rendering issues where walls and other objects are out of place. I can't be absolutely sure on that, though.

I can't say anything about the second (not sure what I'm looking at there). 3rd looks like map failed to load properly, and that could be a network issue?

Thanks Magic,

I will install 64 bit instead. see if there is any changed.

The second screen shot all the cupboards are invisible. I probably should of posted a bit more of a discription. You can see the inside contents though.

The third screen shot happens to me very often. Every 45 minutes no matter where i am, it will start with random objects such as trees or carts going strange colours then it will go black and specific items will be all multi coloured as shown in the picture.

I will update this thread if 64 java helps.

It should also be said as a general observation that 64-bit Java on Windows is probably faster as well. Not because of 64-bittedness per se, but because the 32-bit version of Java on Windows defaults to "client mode", where it doesn't use the more advanced compiler.

Hey MagicmanICT & Loftar

Thanks for coming back to me on this, And to be honest it has taken me a while to update the Java on my computer.

It got to my last nerve today when I shouted at a fellow (newer) villager for 'Butchering' the super high ql bear. Just to find out my stupid game had made the bear invisible and it was actually right in front of me haha... Now i feel like a dick!

Good news though! I updated both my 32 bit java and installed 64 bit java also as from looking around having both is beneficial and i have been logged in for over 3 hours now with no graphics issues so far!

Thanks again for pointing out the blaitent 32/64 bit java intel Issue. Haven just feels generally smoother!! :D :D ;) 8-)
