New chars on same account have all recipes

When making a new char on the same account he had all the recipes available as the main char, without making any discoveries. And switching back to main char made all the recipes start blinking again.

Client kind of saves it when you die so you have to restart client.

That's a UI issue, where the game doesn't ditch cached resources between "Swith character" sessions. Logging out then back in should fix it if I recall correctly.
