If you have bloated leech on your equipment slot you can wear it as long as you didnt throw it and it never turn into ordinary leech... I'm currently wear 3 bloated leeches for a 5 days or so.

I like to keep my leeches where they're safe: on me. I say its a feature. If things need to be changed, have them feed once every few hours.
