Dead animals, you mean?

Yes, there is some sort of bug with cadavers disappearing. Not sure what causes it. Arguably they should decay, but the present behavior is at the very least unintended.

I'd rather they decay on a proper timer if they have to decay. I'd like to see this bug addressed as soon as possible since butchering and organizing 5 animals at a time during a hunt really breaks momentum/flow or whatever you want to call it. Basically I just saw some 30 deers vanish in less than 24 hours and Imo the need to immediately butcher such a meatpile is more of an encouragement to bot than fate curios had they been more desirable.

Edit for more info that should've been added anyway:

From what I've heard in a day or two some of our animals start losing their hides, usually over 2 days. The skin just seems to decay and then after that the rest follows.

This latest case involved animals getting skinned and much less than 24 hours later being gone, quite possibly around 14 hours later tops. So skinless animals won't last more than 14 hours. It'd be nice to have some debugging scripts added to all or some animals, and if you need testing I will personally hunt 30 more deers and boars and whatever and set them aside and let them decay for you to stare at and diagnose, as long as it leads to there being a commonsensical decay mechanic in place and not some buggy mystical "who knows when it'll go" mechanic :D
