Carried item on cursor for no obvious reason

Postby Sever » Tue Oct 27, 2015 8:58 pm

This is not as much a bug report as a bug hunt.

Incidents:
1. Last night I somehow lost my metal saw even though I hadn't swapped out tools for hours. I found it sitting on the ground near a roadsign endpoint that I'd been using. My best guess is that I somehow picked it up and didn't notice, then dropped it.
2. A few minutes ago, I traveled to my hearth fire to get back inside the wall, and for some unknown reason I was holding the same saw (picked up, on the cursor) and dropped it as soon as I tried to move. I was not doing anything with equipment or inventory at that moment.

I have no idea why this is happening but It's not something I've had trouble with before yesterday. I am using Amber client, but I have no indication that's the problem.

And this could be nothing and I'm just doing something stupid. Anyone else had this happen?

Maybe you're accidentally pressing one of these?

What a terrible pair of hotkeys. Couldn't say I specifically did that but it's probably the reason.

Thread over.

Resolved, then. Thanks.
