Another axe bug (Block yield)

Stone axes and Metal axes now have the same yield for blocks; at least on king's oak and mirkwoods (50 and 20 respectively, which were the old metal axe values)

I suspect this could be related to the bug where stick quality ignores axe quality now?

Not true for king's oak. Working as intended for the special case that is the mirkwood log.

what part of it isn't true? stone axe and metal axe do or do not give different block yield amounts on king's oak or any other non-murkwood log?

Metal axe does improve yield in terms of number of blocks for all normal logs, but not for mirkwood.

I chewed through a king's oak and got 46 blocks, although there was a slight amount of the log missing- a metal axe usually yields 50 blocks from king's oak.

Will test this on another type of wood, and again on oak.
