Animals - no CD on initiative attack right after normal

I am not sure if that is intended or not.

I "tank" bear, while using blocks and occasionally hitting it. I noticed that when initiative reaches 2 it will sometimes attack twice (my usual block goes away and my "initiative" block goes away too). It caused me issues few times, since my "initiative" block also blocks green, so basically bear will break it and will onehit KO me into dust with instant second hit.

At least it looks like double attack. Sometimes it goes with longer pause in-between, sometimes you just get "unlucky" KOd or, if shield was last - survive with both blocks down.

It can be worked around when known, of course, but it feels like it might be unintended behavior (since we all have CDs on all abilities).

i've noticed some anomalies like this, really wish we knew what was going on with the animal moves to know whether its intended or not.

Can you please list the defensives you used? Every single defense has a different amount of "dmg" it can block. popping up 2 defenses, say, parry and feigned dodge will almost certainly get both destroyed by a 2IP or normal bear attack unless you have high MC. Be smart with your defenses, bears and one of the end-game pve creatures. They arnt meant to be easy.

I do have high MC and UA. Popping 3. Parry, Quick Dodge and Shield Up. Constantly having at least dodge and shield up on me. Usual attack not breaking dodge or shield up with one normal hit with my stats, it slightly bigger than parry, but just barely scratches second block. 2IP attack breaks the shield up, but not making any damage to me (i think not even 0 in armor) when it hits separately. It happened with me and with my husband already. He also had all his blocks up, as he told me.

Forgot to mention that i do refresh shield up if it 'damaged a bit', same with dodge. So I don't believe it hit me on 300+ hp through slightly damaged shield (about 80-90% of it is still active) and I didn't notice that happen. I am very focused while fighting bears after all!

So far had 3 or 4 KOs like that myself and 1KO was made to husband in front of me. So it is not that often, considering that we killed plenty of bears already...

Thank you! Much appreciate that! Quite sad to get armor damage from seemingly random KO from bear from time to time, when usually it is a somewhat easy fight for me.

If it helps, its not just bears and not just attacks. Even bats can sometimes spam defense withint half a second. Bears do it all the time with that Yellow Red def but sometimes they also put 2 different green def within half a second.

This appears similar to this report. Something is probably bugged here, but we have no obvious avenues of approach to the problem. Would love more information.

I can with certainty say that all those incidents that happened with me and husband - we were on foot and not moving anywhere.

Though I do recall bear stopping its attacks for a while before onehit KOing. So it could be related in some way, yes. I also, like poster above, noticed that animals do spam defenses sometimes. Even ants do. Keep refreshing defense over and over again, while moving (though sometimes while standing still too). Could it be part of the same bug?

Other than that I am not sure what more I could tell... It happens so randomly and rare that I am not sure I can easily reproduce it... or notice anything odd before it actually happens.
