Map reload

Map reload on every tile change probably wasnt so good idea. Basically that produces massive lag everytime you dig one soil up. Its far from useful. People with not best hardware, or even ones with good pcs are experiencing problems due this. It should be reverted or changed.

Not sure what you're talking about. The map has always updated on each changed tile. Or are you talking about the minimap, because in that case I find it hard to believe that a minimap re-render would affect performance very much at all. Rendering the minimap is cheap compared to rendering the "normal" map.

It flashes gray on each tile update and is really distracting.

Same problem here laggy, although the connection is good and my computer too.

Also sometimes the minimap goes crazy, keeps reloading and flashes like the eyes of a lynx on LSD :D

But I keep playing I can't stop

Doesn't for me. I suspect it's a custom-client problem.

So youre okay with 99% of haven players lagging like a hell after this update?

Same problem here, minimap flashing every time i pave a tile.
I'm using Amber client, and this morning (after reading this thread) i checked with vanilla client and there wasn't any flickering.
Probably is something related to the dimension of minimaps in custom clients.
