I'm not sure this isn't as it should be.

I dunno... upon death, muscles relax and the body releases any wastes being held in from this (ie we piss and shit ourselves in death). It's the same function with mammary glands if I understand correctly. I thought to look it up, but all I'm getting are old studies relating to milk and diseased animals on Google. It's not a big enough deal to me to say "hey, no you can't, and here's why."

certainly wouldn't be very drinkable lol. body starts decaying pretty much instantly, waste will definitely contaminate the milk.

Not sure...

Part of the process of death and decay process is actually what turns muscle tissue into meat, and why proper dry aging makes superior steaks.

As far as the milk, it stay fresh in the body for so long because of natural antibodies and such, but after so long, the e. coli and other really nasty bugs that are natural in the body to break down decaying matter before it is expelled from the body in the colon get out of the colon and start affecting the rest of the body, thus ruining it. This is why dressing a corpse after a kill is extremely important. It quickly, within an hour or two, can become inedible and toxic not much later, unless you're a vulture or maggot.

Conclusion: animals that aren't dressed after killing (ie removing the intestines et al first) should decay very rapidly.
