is this an exception to soak filling on buildings over time? a freshly built one cannot be damaged with 160 strength + pickaxe, that should be able to damage anything with a soak of 13 and below i believe.

I was able to destroy one I built with 45 str and pickaxe. It was within minutes of building, about 1% per tick. The neon yellow poplar was too much.

Testing can't reproduce. Can destroy a freshly built one just fine.

then the soak starts rising with just the construction sign. it was up a couple days before i finished building it.

It's good that it rises with contruction sign placement should not change. Keep the mats in piles.
