Cows buged

Tied cows waiting for taming unleash themselves. My gf gave them a clover and they accepted it, then leash it again to the post. Now I've come and its free again.

Any idea how to reproduce this problem? This does not happen to me.

My gf explained me that:
When she logged on the 3 tied cows where in fighting position, she started doing things and when she came back there was one free, untied. She fed it a clover and then she tied it again.
When i came back she explained it to me, and when I logged there was an untied cow again. My gf says its not the same because the previous one was using the same hitching post, so it must be another one. We did the clover thing again and we hitched it. Thats all.
Im waiting now to see if they dissapear or what. I'm not even sure if i have hitted all them, at least i started taming one. But this tamming process happened yesterday, just telling.

If the cow was in the fighting position and you failed to fight it, then ofc the taming will fail. Unless you fought all of them and re-hitched them afterwards. In that case, your giving them an unneeded clover. as for them moving? animals aren't stuck to the post, and have some leeway to roam around. They just wont de-spawn unless you miss the taming window a couple of times.

Not sure if we are doing something wrong, but every time we hitch a taming animal to a post it moves around. We hitch to the post then put the rope in a container close by.. are we doing this wrong?

Animals can move around when hitched, but they stay within range of the post.
